If you have an eat in kitchen, a chandelier with a dimmer would be great over the table and give you the option of romantic lighting for those special dinners. Add recessed lighting to your kitchen strategically angled to highlight certain areas as well. Install pendant lighting above the island.

Rearrange For A Change If you are looking for a quick change and your kitchen is big enough try rearranging the furniture- Pull your furniture away from the walls, move things around, get rid of some clutter.

Use Slipcovers Slipcovers over your chairs can soften the room and add to your decor. For the holidays, try using special covers in holdiay patters or colors. For a nice summer change use white cotton or canvas slipcovers on the chairs.
